Oliver receives post District Honors

Haylee Oliver, a 5’10" Junior from San Saba High School received post district honors for basketball. She was named All West Texas and All West Texas Super Team. To be named All West Texas Super Team, she was compared to players from all levels (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A).

She was named to the All Region Team by The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC). Region 1 is the toughest 2A region in the state. Haylee was named with girls from Wall, Shallowwater, and Idalou.

Texas Girls Coaches Association named Haylee to the All State Team.

Oliver averaged 16.8 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2.9 steals, 2 blocks, 3.1 assist per game for the 2009-2010 season. She is coached by Tony Taylor and Kara Stowe.

Haylee said her teammates are a key factor to her success. She will be one of six returning seniors for the 2010-2011 basketball season.
