The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met March 18, 2010 for play day with the chair for March, Dorothy Sterner, calling for a game of match play. Anita Miles defeated Sandee Hartley and Anita scored the Low Gross for the day, Hattie Rogers defeated Jo Ann Snow and Hattie scored the Low Net for the day, and Becky Hardin defeated Dorothy Sterner. Jo Anne Hardy came out for fresh air and to watch the girls, but lo and behold, she decided to hit some balls and play a few holes and did a good job! We are happy that she is recovering from knee surgery.

Anita Miles lost her precious mother Thursday night, March 18, 2010 and as your reporter I just have to express my thanks and appreciation for all the love you girls have shown me this past week. It so touched my heart when I saw your beautiful faces at the services and I will always remember your presence and every act of kindness! I will always treasure your friendship!

We are small in number but our love for each other is huge! And we will continue to enjoy each other and the game of golf for as long as possible. We are ‘packing a little age’, but we’re still "swinging!"
