There will be a Fajita Lunch Sunday, March 28th from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the Cherokee Fire Station. Donation Only...... All proceeds go to Relay for Life.

Ellen and Josh Jones from Colorado visited friends and family in Cherokee and Llano this week. It was great to see them.

Tommy, Kaci, Talli and Tori Morrison spent part of their Spring Break camping.

Danny and Janiece Duggan spent time in Waco recently. Danny’s Dad, Jerry Duggan had surgery. He is doing well at this time.

Lea Jenkel has left Cherokee for Austin. Then she will return to Germany. She spent a month visiting family, Howard and Carmen Jenkel. She was able to spend time with the Cherokee Home for Children on their retreat. Lea will be missed.

Several children from Cherokee Home spent time with family during Spring Break.

Dan and Esther Cox enjoyed their children and grandchildren during Spring Break. They had a houseful.

Dale and Jennifer Christian and their daughters, Natalie and Alanna, of College Station were weekend guests of Rick and Wiliece Hoffman. The girls helped their grandmother have a real Aggie bonfire. Franklin Crain and Doug Suggs enjoyed lunch with them on Sunday. They said the lunch was a welcome thing after cooking for themselves since Sandra and Cindy were at camp with the Cherokee Home for Children.

Roger Wisdom is home from an Austin Hospital.

Rodney, Tracy, Kendall and Brady Johnson went to the San Antonio Zoo last Thursday.

Dusty and MaryDell Rhoades spent last week on a cruise.

Perry Barrett was laid to rest last Saturday at the Pontotoc Cemetery. Our sympathy to his sister, Maridell Johanson and family.
