Lady Dillo Track Report

This past Thursday we ventured to a place I had never been before in twenty one years of coaching. We traveled to Holland which is near Belton and Salado. We did very well despite some crazy weather. A ton of wind and even some rain which lasted for about 5 minutes. I felt like I was in the Panhandle for a few moments. The meet was very organized and the Holland staff needs to be commended for running a great meet. The Varsity Lady Dillos finished 3rd overall scoring 89 points finishing behind Academy who had 91 points and champion Rogers who scored 97 points. Our JV finished 6th overall and had some nice individual performances. The results are as follows:

Varsity Girls:

High Jump- Haylee Oliver, 1st

Pole Vault- Haylee Oliver, 2nd

3200- Danessa Vasquez, 1st

400 Relay- Karlee Cromer, Jaena Edwards, Haylee Oliver, Carmen Paredes, 5th

800- Alexa Maxcey, 3rd

100 Hurdles- Karlee Cromer, 1st

800 Relay- Carmen Paredes, Johna Reavis, Haylee Oliver, Jennifer Anaya, 3rd

300 Hurdles- Johna Reavis, 3rd

200- Jennifer Anaya, 3rd

1600- Danessa Vasquez, 1st; Alexa Maxcey, 3rd; Rebeca Paredes, 6th

1600 Relay- Johna Reavis, Jennifer Anaya, Carmen Paredes, Anita Gamboa, 5th

Junior Varsity:

Long Jump and Triple Jump- Ashley Pulatie, 5th

400 Relay- Yicelle Cuevas, Paige Faught, Ashley Pulatie, Taylor Duffy, 2nd

800- Kelsey Flores, 4th

100- Paige Faught, 1st, Ashley Pulatie, 4th

400- Yicelle Cuevas, 1st

1600- Taylor Duffy, 1st; Kelsey Flores, 4th

This Saturday we’re heading West as we travel to Sonora on Saturday.
