Mike and Debbie Pierson of Trinidad, Colorado, announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica of San Diego, California, to Buddy Bishop of Austin, Texas, son of Dwayne and Mikie Bishop of San Saba. The bride is a graduate of San Marcos High School, Abilene Christian University, Texas State University, and The University of Texas. She is employed by San Diego State University as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education. The groom is a graduate of San Saba High School and Texas Tech University, and is a certified landscape architect employed by Native Land Design in Austin. The wedding is planned for June 5, 2010, in Trinidad at the home of the bride's parents.
