Mode C. Mask

Mode C. Mask, 89, of Richland Springs, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center in Brownwood, Texas. Mode was born October 2, 1920, in McCullough County, Texas, to James Ard Mask and Bessie Foster Mask. He married Emily Kasper on March 18, 1957, in Miles, Texas.

He is survived by his wife Emily Mask of Richland Springs, Tx.; a son, John Mask and his wife, Michelle of Richland Springs, Tx.; a daughter, Kari Reichenau of Brownwood, Tx.; and grandchildren, Kirstin Reichenau, Mason Reichenau, and Joyslynn Mask. Mode is also survived by his sisters, Oleta Rankin and her husband Lonnie of Miles, Tx., Aneta Doyal of Brady, Tx., and Willene Dunning and her husband Gene of Lampasas, Tx. and several nieces and nephews.

Mode is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Kenneth Mask, and two brothers, E. M. (Malcolm) Mask, and Louie Mask.

He was a veteran of World War II, Army 89

Services were held Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. at the Richland Springs Cemetery with Rev. Michael Suber, officiating.

Interment followed at Richland Springs Cemetery.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Mask-Till Scholarship Fund, c/o City National Bank, 209 E. Brown, San Saba, Texas 76877.
