B.R. "Jr." Leach

On February 28, 2010, a sweet, raining night our beloved husband, dad, and papa went to be with his Lord and Savior, as he passed from this life in the hospital.

Funeral services for B.R. "Jr." Leach are scheduled for 3:30p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010 in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Dayton Leach and Dave Fair officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Point Cemetery.

B.R. was born on October 2, 1932 in San Saba County, to the late Ben and Rodie Leach. He attended school in Holt, Texas. He moved to Brownwood in 1953. He later married Naomi F. Gober on July 3, 1956. He worked as a truck driver and also did landscaping.

He is survived by his loving wife Naomi of 53 years, his children; Sharron Humbert and husband Jay of Waco, Glenn Leach and wife Sharon of Brownwood, Glenda Sherfield and husband Randy of Brownwood, Dayton Leach and wife Robin of Brownwood, Lyndon Leach and wife Gloria of Bangs, 11 grandchildren, Jeffery Tucker of Waco, Justin Tucker of Waco, Taylor Tucker of Waco, Jennifer Hunt of Waco, Amanda Snow of Early, Brandon Shane McCarthy of Tolar, Aimee Egger of Brownwood, Cody Leach of Brownwood, Joe Leach of Brownwood, Crystal Leach of Brownwood, and Kyna Leach of Brownwood, 3 great-grandchildren that were the loves of his life; Kailey Snow of Early, Braxton Snow of Early, and Hannah McCarthy of Tolar, 3 sisters; Gussy Watkins of Big Springs, Ruth Lowe and Carolyn Morgaridge of Lampasas, 2 brothers; Gary Neil Leach of Lufkin, Jimmy Steve Leach of Houston, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Rodie Leach, 2 brothers; Ben Leach and Clifford Leach, and 2 sisters; Dee Lusty and Willee Kelly.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society or Walker Cancer Center at Brownwood Regional Medical Center in Mr. Leach’s honor.
