We registered .3 of an inch of rain last Monday. The days have been windy and the nights are pretty cool with a touch of frost and some ice on windshields, typical Fall weather.

I had a bunch of Trick or Treaters last Saturday night. The kids were cute in their costumes and some of the adults got into the swing of things and dressed up. I always enjoy them coming by.

The Richland Springs coyotes had an open date last week and they will travel to Eden this Friday night. Lanell and Hannah Parson came by and picked me up last Friday night and we went to the Bangs and San Saba game. The dragons defeated the armadillos by a score of 60-21. There were 13 of us there to watch Theron Parson and the rest of the dragons.

Kelton Parson was the guest of honor at a birthday party last Saturday at the Parson’s home in Bangs. Seventeen friends and family members gathered to help Kelton with his cake and ice cream.

Don’t forget the time change next Sunday. It is time to “fall back”. I always have to complain about these time changes. I wish they would leave it alone.

The Joey Tharp Memorial Scholarship Benefit will be this Saturday night, Nov. 3rd, at 6 PM at the Elm Grove community center. Please make it a point to be there for some good food and fellowship and to help out a very worthy cause.
