The Cherokee Fall Festival was a huge sucess. The supper was delicious and there was lots of booths. A big “Thank You” to everyone that helped!

Charlie Gray of Ester, Alaska spent time recently in Llano, Cherokee and San Saba visiting family and friends. Ester is close to Fairbanks.

Mr. and Mrs. Brent Poss and children from San Antonio spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Avery Johnson. Alex, Zach and Landry enjoyed the Fall Festival.

Mance Randolph spent a few days in the Llano hospital. Mance resides in Eventide Nursing Home.

Wendy Shannon went back to work at Eventide Nursing Home last week.

Joel, Betty, Garrett, and Erin Ratliff, along with Bobby and Pat Ratliff of Llano, have returned from a New Mexico Black Powder mule deer hunt. Joel and Bobby were drawn for the annual New Mexico Black Powder hunt. They spent a week near Cloudcroft, NM camping and hunting in the Lincoln National Forest. Joel killed a nice 10 point mule deer and Bobby killed a 6 point. Betty wants to report for the first time in history, Erin’s curls were STRAIGHT due to the cool dry climate!!

Kenly Kroll was in Colorado last week camping with family and friends. They ran into the Ratliff men on the mountain and helped carry out Bobby’s mule deer.

Doug and Cyndi Suggs went to LaPort to watch their granddaughter Sydnie cheer. They also spent time with grandson Payton, son Jeff, daughter Tiffany, and daughter Monica and her husband Samus.

Richard Randolph and Sue Rhoades were in Llano last week to watch Collin Oestreich play soccer.
