Sheriff Brown promoted Deputy Tony Jacobs to Patrol Sergeant as of March 1st, 2010. Sheriff Brown stated that Sergeant Jacobs work ethic has been outstanding and that placing Jacobs into this position will be an asset to both the Sheriff's Office and to the community.

Jacobs began working for the Sheriff's Office March 1st of 2009 and has a wife, Mandee Jacobs and child, Kenlee here in San Saba. Jacobs also is a local businessman and is involved in the community working with the Domestic Violence Task Force for several months and is assisting Sheriff Brown with several community policing programs.
