Dixie Turner is about as layed back as they come and is wonderful at multi-tasking. She does everything that is asked of her with a great attitude. She always has a smile on her face and has a kind word for everyone. The residents love her and they all know her by name.

With all of the modern conveniences, what do you think we lack? Robot maids.

Of the existing, which is your favorite? Cell phones.

Something about you that few people know? I sleep with my socks on.

If you were a vehicle, which would you be? A convertible, so I could feel the open air.

Favorite tradition that you started or carry on? Hot dogs on Christmas Eve.

What are you the best at? Cooking sweets of any kind.

First purchase you would make with your Texas Lotto winnings ? One way tickets to Colorado.

Something you would stay up very late for or would get up very early for? Shopping.

Something you cannot pass up? Cheesecake.

Craziest thing you have ever dressed up as and why? A cat, because two of my friends dressed up with me.

What is one life lesson that you would like to pass on? Live each day like there is no tomorrow.

What do you get on your soap box about? Gossip.

Sweetest sound to your ears? My house full of family and laughter.

Next planned vacation? Alaskan cruise, this summer.

Something that you are not great at? Patting my head and rubbing my stomach at the same time.

Something that you would like to try that you haven't? Skydiving.

Last movie that made you cry? Blind Side.

Last person that made you laugh? Michelle Hibler (sis).

What do you appreciate the most? God, my family, my health.

Most exciting thing that has ever happened to you? Living next door to the Mississippi River growing up.

What gets you motivated? Doesn't take much to get me motivated, someone says let's go and I'm ready.

What gets on your nerves the most, pet peeve? Negative attitudes, I like to think positively.

Phrase that drives you the craziest? Duh. 

If you could have chosen your own name, what would it have been? Bill...George...anything but Dixie.
