San Saba High School BCIS II raising funds for school projects
Thursday, February 25, 2010 • Posted February 25, 2010

The San Saba High School BCIS II class was given an assignment to identify a problem and its solution. After researching ideas, talking to the City Manager and the Superintendent, issues were found. We decided that the school needs a new mascot uniform. The one we have now is so old and torn up that it can’t even be used.

Another issue we are trying to tackle is resurfacing the tennis courts. Our tennis team has gone to state 14 years in a row, yet our courts aren’t in good condition. We plan to resurface these courts and purchase a new armadillo suit. Trying to accomplish these goals will be very difficult.

To raise funds we are going to bring back the "Purple Potty". All through the month of March the potty will be circulating through San Saba. If the potty ends up in your yard, it’s $10 to get it removed. You can pick who receives the potty next, but that will be another $5. If someone is not picked, the potty will move to a random house. You can also buy insurance for your house. This insurance will keep the potty from returning to your yard and will cost $5. If you happen to be the lucky one to get the "Purple Potty" in your yard you may call 325-372-3786 during school hours or 325-372-7997 after school hours.

You can also follow us on twitter at twitter.com/BCIS to keep track of our progress. Please help us reach our goal.

The BCIS II class consists of Jack Whitten, Haley Oliver, Jaena Edwards, Laken Miller, Johna Reavis, Tarah Crosby, Nina Paredez, and Tucker Cromer.
