The nomination forms for the 2nd Annual San Saba Awards Recognition Banquet are in and have been reviewed by the Awards Selection Committee. After carefully weighing the criteria, the final decision has been made. The committee would like to thank everyone who submitted a nomination form.

The 2010 San Saba Recognition Awards Banquet will be held March 11th at the San Saba Civic Center. The theme of the banquet is "Let's Go to the Hop!" Featured live entertainment will be by 50's Doo Wop Vocal Group "The Moonlites." There will be a Best Dressed Contest, Twist Contest, Limbo, and more.

The meal will be Double-Meat Cheeseburgers, French Fries, Rootbeer Floats, and all the trimmings. One lucky person at the banquet will win a "Carnival Cruise for Two" with stops in Cozumel and Progresso. Tickets are available at City Hall for $10.00 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Only 400 tickets will be sold.
