The Cowboy Cemetery Association meeting and cemetery cleaning was held on April 19th. The association provided barbeque brisket, sausage, beans, potato salad, slaw, and pickles, etc. Desserts and drinks were provided by the members.

The main project for the Association for the coming year is to raise funds to help pour a concrete slab beside the building and under the new roof. Donations may be made at any time to the Cowboy Cemetery Association, P. O. Box 552, Brownwood, Texas 76804.

This year our Treasurer, Karen Fair, Secretary, Janie Johnson, and one Director, Diane Davis were up for election. The board of directors recommended they be reelected. All three were reelected for a three year term.

Officers and Directors for this year are: Kenneth Barr, President; Alvin Bolton, Vice-President; Karen Fair, Treasurer; Janie Johnson, Secretary; Gloria Barr, Director; Jerry W. Jones, Director; and Diane Davis, Director.

The next cleaning of the cemetery and meeting of the association will be April 18, 2009.
