Friends of the Rylander Library to hold Spring Book Sale
Thursday, April 24, 2008 • Posted April 24, 2008

The Friends of the Rylander Memorial Library have scheduled their Spring Book Sale for Friday May 2nd & Saturday May 3rd. Thanks to the generosity of John Northern, this year’s sale will again be held in the old Harry’s Ladies Store on the south side of Wallace Street next to Sugarbakers. The doors will be open from 8:30 to 5 both days.

You can’t beat the prices that range from 10 cents for pocket paperbacks to only a dollar for hardbacks. We have received wide variety of books and videos since the last sale so come by and see what treasures you can find.

The Friends use the proceeds of the book sales to fund the Library story hour, the summer reading program and quarterly speaker series. Their special project this year is the new fence and planting area next to the library parking lot. Thank you to the landscape committee for developing the plan and coordinating the project.

Don’t miss your chance to support the Rylander Library while filling your bookshelves at bargain prices.
