Brenda Kay Ashing

Brenda Kay Ashing, wife, mother, daughter, sister but mostly friend, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2007 in Houston, Texas at the age of 50.

She was born on January 26, 1957 to Joyce (Smith) and Wayne Bush in Brownwood, Texas. Mrs. Ashing had resided in Llano since 1983 coming from Richland Springs. She was employed as a business administrator with Llano Memorial Hospital and Hill Country Health Care Nursing Home. Mrs. Ashing was married to James Ashing on January 20, 1979 in Pecos, Texas. She was a strong willed, independent and loving person. Few saw her anger, most saw her care and felt her love.

She is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Bush and brother, Ken Bush.

Mrs. Ashing leaves behind a loving husband, James Ashing of Llano; sons, Chamblis Ashing of Llano and Daylon Ashing of Chandler, Arizona; mother, Joyce Bush of Llano; brothers, Bill Bush of Brady, Bob Bush of Brady and Roger Bush of San Saba; as well as a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly and remember her fondly.

A visitation will be held Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home in Llano from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home Chapel in Llano at 2:00pm.

The family has established an account for Brenda at the First State Bank in Llano to which the family has requested in lieu of flowers and memorial contributions to be made to.
