On Saturday the Boys and Girls Power lifting Teams competed in Brady. Most of our lifters had their best total of the year at this meet and they should be commended for their performances. This was an extremely competitive meet and our kids competed really well and for that we are proud of them. There were at least 20 lifters in each weight class and about 20 teams. These lifters have come a long way since their very first meet of the year and we are extremely proud of them for that. Most of our lifters are freshmen and sophomores and the future truly looks bright for the Dillo power lifting teams. We would like to thank the athletes’ parents for all of their support and allowing us to coach these wonderful kids.

Boys:

Allan Hale = 6th in the 148lb. class

Isaac Jiminez = 3rd in the 181lb. class

Max Palacio = 6th in the 198lb. class

Dominic Rosales = 8th in the 198lb. class

Tanner Weyerts = 4th in the 220lb. class

Jose Olivas = 9th in the 220lb. class

Wil Sloan = 7th in the 242 lb. class

Michael McKinnerney = 15th in the 242 lb. class

Nathan Amstead = 18th in the 242 lb. class

Dusty Parum = 8th in the 275 lb. class

Alex Cervantes = 20th in the 148lb. class

Tyler McIntosh = 2nd in the SHW

Dave Smith = 6th in the SHW

Girls:

Laken Miller = 4th place

Nikki Lindsey = 7th place

Natasha Hernandez = 9th place
