The Door in the Wall: Submitted by Erin Ratliff

The Door in the Wall is about a boy named Robin who has grown up the son of a noble man. The day Robin is to become a knight he gets ill and crippled. A monk named Brother Luke saves him and brings him to the Hospice of St. Marks. There he learns much. When the Castle of Lindsay is threatened to be attacked by the Welch, Robin learns that there are other ways to serve the king. As Brother Luke says, "Thou hast only to follow the wall long enough and there will be a door in it." Robin is able to accomplish a lot in spite of his handicap. This book is a very good book for children and adults. Thanks.
