The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met February 4, 2010 for the monthly business meeting with the following ladies present: Hattie Rogers, Dorothy Sterner, Nell McHorse, Sandee Hartley, Jo Ann Snow, Becky Hardin, Bobbie Churchill, and Anita Miles.

The President, Anita Miles, called the meeting to order and opened the meeting with prayer, led by the Club Chaplain, Nell McHorse.

The Secretary, Hattie Rogers, read the minutes from the December meeting and they were approved as read. There were no minutes for January as there wasn’t a quorum for the meeting. The Treasurer, Bobbie Churchill, gave the financial report. The Traveling 4-Ball Chair, Sandee Hartley, gave the report from the annual meeting. San Saba will host the Traveling 4-Ball Tournament June 24, 2010.

Anita Miles gave an update on Jo Anne Hardy. She is recovering and in physical therapy and doing well. Jo Ann Snow reported that she had talked with Bette Odom and she is also recovering from recent surgery and is doing well. Dorothy Sterner reported on Pat Ribb and she is still having some serious pain issues.

The ladies had a fun day in the rain playing a new card game called "Play Nine." They weren’t in the rain but the beautiful RV club room. Afterwards they had lunch together, so it was a great day of fellowship. They welcome any prospective lady golfers to join them. Spring is on the horizon and we all hope to be back out there on our beautiful golf course "swinging!"
