Mary Frances Ketchum, 84, of San Saba, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. She was born October 10, 1925, in San Saba County, Texas, the daughter of Minor Hugh Duncan and Eunice Taylor.

She is survived by her son Hugh Ketchum and his fiancé Susan of San Saba, Texas; her sisters-in-law, Louise Hyman of Richland Springs and Jeanette Duncan of Houston; her grandchildren Jason Ketchum and his wife Vicky; Randy Ketchum; and Timothy Ketchum and his wife Tara; her great grandchildren, Abigail Ketchum and Stone Ketchum. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son J. H., her husband Howard, and two brothers, Taylor Duncan and James Duncan.

Services were held Friday, February 5, 2010, at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel.

The family received friends at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home on Thursday, February 4, 2010.

Interment followed the ceremony at China Creek Cemetery.

The family requests that memorials be made to the San Saba County EMS.
