Doris Patricia Newberry, age 76 years, 2 months and 12 days, of Bend, Texas, passed away Friday, February 5, 2010 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas.

She was born on November 23, 1033 in Dublin, Texas to Caswell Williford and Trudy (Adcock) Williford Mrs. Newberry was an accountant and a Baptist.

Mrs. Newberry was united in marriage to Joe Newberry on April 23, 1955 in Hobbs, New Mexico.

She is survived by husband, Joe Newberry, Bend, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Howard and Rebecca Newberry, Wolfe City, Texas; David and Tina Newberry , San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; three brothers, James Williford, Pearland, Texas; C.L. Williford, Jr. Utopia, Texas, Clay Daughtry, Phoenix, Arizona; and one sister, Debbie Johnson, Waco, Texas.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Union Cemetery in Comanche County, Texas with Comanche Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
