On January 19, the Dublin Lions used a strong 2nd and 4th quarter to beat the Armadillos 64-46. In the first quarter we played pretty well against them. Chase Key hit one three and Chance Gotcher had a couple of twos and Tucker Cromer went 3 of 4 from the line and the Dillos trailed 10-13 after one quarter. The second quarter turned out to be a little different. Dublin outscored the Dillos 18-6 in the second. Half time score was Dublin 31, Dillos 16. We played them pretty even in the second half with Dublin scoring 33 points in the half and the Dillos scoring 30. The final was Dublin 64 Dillos 46. Scoring for the Dillos: Chance Gotcher – 10, Braden McBee – 8 (2 Threes), Ryan Pannell -7, Chase Key – 7 (1 Three), Pete Torres – 7 (1 Three), and Tucker Cromer 7.

On January 22, the Armadillos traveled to Bangs. Again, the Dillos played a pretty good 1st quarter and trailed 12-9 . In the 2nd quarter, Bangs outscored the Dillos 20-11 and took a half time lead 32-20. In the second half, Bangs scored 20 and 17 in the 3rd and 4th quarter while the Dillos scored 10 and 11. The final was Bangs 69, Dillos 41.

The guys have been doing some good things and they continue to give everything they have. Yesterday we played Brady here and we will travel to Early on Friday, January 29.
