Top Five Reasons For Attending Faithweavers
Thursday, January 21, 2010 • Posted January 21, 2010

Faithweavers Friends, the Wednesday afternoon Bible Study at the Methodist Church, starts its Spring 2010 session this week. Last Fall, more than 30 kids attended.

We asked some of the kids why they like Faithweavers and here’s what they said:

Reason #5—The coolest kids in San Saba come to the program. Plus, there’s not much else to do on Wednesday afternoons.

Reason #4 – The after-school snacks are great and they’re ready and waiting as soon as we arrive.

Reason #3 – Theo needs help. Theo, the clueless puppet, needs a lot of help to understand the day’s Bible lesson. Theo (like a lot of us) just doesn’t "get it" and we have to use our strongest voices to help Theo UNDERSTAND!!

Reason #2 – There’s laughter, fun, silliness, snacks and surprises. The leaders always make sure we have fun while growing closer to God.

And, the #1 reason for attending Faithweavers……

We actually learn about the Bible! And, we’re encouraged to grow strong spiritual roots that connect us to God’s plan for our lives.

So, there you have it—the top five reasons Faithweavers Friends is the place to be this Spring. Won’t you join us? Faithweavers is for kids ages 4 through 4

th grade and meets every Wednesday from 3:45 pm – 5:30 pm at the Methodist Church (come around back). The cost is $15 (which includes a t-shirt) and scholarships are available. Call 372.3120 for more information or just show up. Everyone is invited!
