Winners announced for the San Saba County 2010 Youth Fair
Thursday, January 21, 2010 • Posted January 21, 2010

There were 372 entries in this year’s San Saba County Youth Fair. The Youth Fair was held at the Senior Center on January 14th and 15th. Should you happen to see one of these young people, give them some words of praise – they did a GREAT JOB!

We would like to remind the public that the Youth Fair is open to all of the young people in San Saba County and is held during the County Stock Show week. It is an excellent opportunity for youth to share with the community any project that they may have worked on throughout the past year either at School, Vacation Bible School, in 4-H, at home or during various other activities. Thanks to all these youth for sharing their many talents with our community.

Special thanks goes to: Carol Littlefield, Nelda Edgmon, Betty Wilson, Kathy Ellis, Debbie Shahan, Sandra Collins, Margaret Rice, Dixie Hewitt, Aileen Roberts, Brooke Adams, Alesha Rogers, Cathy & Wade Ledbetter, Tracey Thomas, & Celia Bell who assisted with the entries this year. Also assisting with the Fair were twenty four judges, 6 hostesses, 2 clean-up people. Without these people’s assistance, the Youth Fair could not have happened.
