Brandon Renton, great grandson of Bill and Juanice Davidson, shown above with Rick Pierce, bagged his very first deer, a six point taken at Harkeyville, TX on the Davidson Farm. Brandon, 9 years old, could hardly contain his excitement when he was told he would be able to use the 30-30 Winchester his Papaw, Rick Pierce took his first deer with. This is also the same gun his uncle, Lee Pierce took his first deer with when he was 12 years old – a doe also taken in San Saba County. Brandon is the son of Neil and Tracy Renton. Tracy is the daughter of Rick and Sharon Pierce and granddaughter of Bill and Juanice Davidson.
