Sylvia Bobo, 89, of Austin, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Gracie Woods Nursing Home in Austin, Texas. She was born January 14, 1920 in Maryville, Tennessee, the daughter of William Holmes and Mary Buchanan.

She is survived by her daughters Paula Bobo Holubec and her husband Anthony of Austin, Texas and Mary Rebecca Wash of Dothan, Alabama; her son-in-law Russell Anderson of Stony Creek, Virginia; her brother-in-law Glen Westall of Midland, Texas.

She was also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son Walter William Davis, and one daughter Sylvia Leilani Anderson.

Services were held Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Crosby officiating.

Interment followed at San Saba Cemetery.

The family requests memorials be made to the San Saba Cemetery Building Fund.
