San Saba EMS and Fire Department need your help
Thursday, January 14, 2010 • Posted January 14, 2010

The San Saba EMS and Fire Department need your help. There are many residences in San Saba County that do not have their 911 address posted in a conspicuous and visible location, and some that do not have an address posted whatsoever. The presence and visibility of your 911 address is critical to the law enforcement, EMS, and other emergency personnel who may be called upon to respond to an emergency at your residence. Without a highly visible 911 address posted in a prominent location, responding personnel could waste precious time searching for an address or location that is not clearly identified.

Although some in EMS have been life long residents of San Saba County, and are familiar with where many of you live, there are many who depend upon the presence of a 911 address to correctly identify the residence in need of help. Not only should those of you who live in the country ensure that your 911 address is clearly visible from the nearest county road, but everyone in town should also have their address posted in a visible location as well.

So please take just a few minutes to ensure that your 911 address is clearly visible from the nearest roadway. Those few minutes you spend doing so, may make the difference between life and death in the event of an emergency.
