Annie Lee Clark, 93, of Lamarque, Texas passed away on Monday, December 28, 2009 at St. Lukes Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was born August 2, 1916 in Bell County, Texas, the daughter of Ambrose Dudley Beckner and Harmour Julia Fatheree.

She is survived by her son James C. Clark and his wife Nita of Mineola, Texas; her daughters Margie Wronski and her husband Leszek of Lamarque, Texas and Mary Ann Ross of Lamarque, Texas; her brother James Beckner of San Saba; her grandchildren Scott Harkey and his wife Terri, Cynthia Wiecko and her husband Filip, James M. Joiner III, Julianna Clark-Wronski, Derek Clark and his wife Karyn, James A. Clark and his wife Jill, Phillip Clark and his wife Cathy, Susan Cannon and her husband Robert, Amanda Nab and her husband Derek; her 13 great-grandchildren; and she was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son-in-law Bill Ross, one great-grandchild Christopher Derek Clark, two brothers A.D. Beckner and Pat Beckner, one half brother Clarence Beckner, and her sister Billie Katherine Beckner.

Services were held Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home with Rev. James Clark officiating and Farrel Whitley assisting. Interment followed at the San Saba Cemetery.

The family requests that memorials be made to the San Saba City Cemetery.
