Last Friday, the 9th grade boys basketball team hosted the Hico Tigers in the White Gym. We were able to open the game with an aggressive and uptempo pace. This helped us get out to a 12 - 3 lead in the first quarter, and there was no looking back.

Our zone defense was solid and only allowed three 3 pointers made for the entire game. Offensively, we were making the mid-range shots and pushing the ball up the floor when we could, which seems to be our style. All nine players scored from our team,

ranging from 2 points to 9 points. This is always impressive because it showed total team involvement. Our rebounding and free throw shooting were the final factors to securing the victory. The final score was Hico 9 - San Saba 52. This makes the season record 4 - 4.

Our next 9th grade games will be at the Llano Tournament, December 29 - 30. We will play two games each day (11:30 and 3:30). The Varsity and JV will also be playing both days in the same tournament
