Middle School UIL Region Band tryouts were held on Friday, December 11, in Early. Congratulations to the following students who made the band and traveled the following day to Ballinger High School for the Region Band Clinic and Concert: Mikayla Eden, 5th Chair French Horn; Jeremy Vaughn, 7th Chair French Horn; Joseph Messer, 4th Chair Percussion; John Welch, 6th Chair Percussion.

Other students who tried out were: Brendon Bush, 9th in Percussion (missed by 1 chair); Wesley Gates, 9th in Trombones (missed by 1 chair); Brandon Amstead, 7th in Tuba (missed by 2 chairs); Holt Oliver, 11th in Percussion (missed by 3 chairs); Joely Haverland, 11th in Alto Sax (missed by 5 chairs); Logan Guidroz, 17th in Percussion; Nickie Ortiz, 17th in Flute; Emiliono Zapata, 28th in Trumpet.
