Great new opportunities at the San Saba River Golf Course
Thursday, December 10, 2009 • Posted December 10, 2009

As the 2009 golf season is starting to come to a close, and the clubs are put to little use until spring, we have many plans and projects getting under way on the course this winter. You will be seeing more esthetic improvements to the course, as well as general maintenance, the trimming of a few trees and the City Parks Department back on the new driving range project. These are truly exciting times for our course. The information in this letter is to inform all of you to the changes in the membership dues and structure that have needed to be addressed for some time. Our Golf Committee, and staff have come up with what we feel is a good solution to dues increases, and still taking care of those that have been taking care of this great facility for the past 38 years.

Starting on January 1, 2010 San Saba River Golf Course will be implementing these changes to the current membership: Any current member as of January 1, 2010 will be considered a "Founding Member" of the golf course and with this title your membership dues will remain the same for 2010. Also any future dues increases will be at a slower rate than Non "Founding Members".

To maintain the "Founding Member" status you must be a member in good standing by January 1, 2010, and you must keep your membership current. Any new member joining after January 1, 2010, or any "Founding Member" that drops his/her membership, or fails to pay by the 15

All members will see a slight increase in cart storage fees beginning January 1, 2010. Original sheds will increase from $26.00 to $30.00 monthly, and the newer sheds will go from $32.00 to $36.00 monthly. The increase in the cart storage fees will cover repairs and painting of existing sheds. The Pro Shop staff will be updating a current shed list, and a letter will be written to all past due shed occupants. Any shed occupant that fails to pay rental fees for 2 consecutive months will have a certified letter sent, and if no payment is made by the 3

th day of each month will be under the new members rates. Also any Member that fails to make payment by the 15th of each month will be subject to a 10% late fee and will have to pay a green fee until membership is made current. At anytime a member will be able to change the type of membership (family to individual, monthly to semi-annual, etc.) with written notice to the golf shop.rd month all property in the shed will be seized by the San Saba River Golf Course and all proceeds from the sale of said items will go to the course. We hope that all of you have a great holiday season and we look forward to seeing all of you on the links in 2010.
