Murray Joe Hubbert, 89, of San Saba, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2009 at Kerrville Veterans Administration Hospital in Kerrville, Texas. He was born April 3, 1920 in San Saba, Texas, the son of Edgar Hubbert Sr. and Martha Elizabeth Flood. Murray Joe Hubbert and Lois Hubbert were married on September 29th. He was a retired machinist.

Murray is survived by his wife, Lois Hubbert of San Saba; his daughter, Carol Hubbert of San Saba; his grandson, Jason Mathew Hubbert and his wife, Shamone; several nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews, and several great-great-nieces and nephews.

Murray is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Roy Dale Hubbert; four brothers, John D. Hubbert; Ben Oliver Hubbert; Edgar Hubbert Jr., and Eugene Hubbert.

Services were held Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Crosby officiating.

Interment followed at the San Saba Cemetery.
