There was stiff competition at the 54th annual San Saba County Pecan Food Show last Friday at the Court House as there were 65 entries. It took the six judges from neighboring counties most of the morning to choose the winners.

In the Club Division, the Grand Champion rosette went to Winnie Lou McCoury’s Pecan Perfection Pie. Marilyn Miller’s Butter Pecan Banana Cake was the Reserve Champion.
