District 8-2A has released the 2009 all-district football team. Congratulations to the following San Saba Armadillo football players for receiving District 8-2a all district honors.

Anthony Salinas-District 8-2a Defensive MVP

Ryan Pannell- District 8-2a Newcomer of the Year

1st. Team Offense:

Gary Gant-Running Back

Pete Torres- Tight End

Tyler McIntosh-Offensive Line

David Smith- Offensive Line

2nd. Team Offense:

Alex Cervantes- Fullback

Jack Whitten- Running Back

John Hartranft- Center

Dominic Rosales- Offensive Line

Chase Key- Receiver

Deigo Gonzalez- Kicker

Honorable Mention:

Haydon Oliver-Running Back

Issac Jimenez-Tight End

Chance Gotcher-Receiver
