The Cherokee Fall Festival will be held Saturday night. Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. It will be homemade chili, stew and desserts. The carnival will be from 6:00 to 7:15. Costume judging will be at 7:00 p.m. Please try to attend.

Maybelle and Gary Ray from Cherokee and Joyce Capps from Lampasas attended the McCoy reunion at Lake Victor last Saturday. They really enjoyed visiting with first, second and third cousins. They enjoyed meeting new cousins. The next reunion will be held next October.

Do you enjoy watching youth learn? Do you have about 3 hours of free time per month? Would you like to feel good about yourself? Would you enjoy making your community a better place? if so, then the Cherokee 4-H Club needs you. Volunteers are needed to assist with several aspects of the 4-H Club. It is nice to have Jody and Tonya Ray and Colton living in Cherokee. They have moved in the Johanson home.

The Bend Fish Fry was a good success last weekend. Some of the Cherokee folks were Robert and Sue Broyles. Also Sue Rhoades and Richard Randolph. Sandy, Collin and Caroline Oestreich from Llano. The food was delicious.

Mr. and Mrs. Ryle Harms from Livingston, Montana spent the week visiting the Rhoades and Randolph families.

Willena Mckneely is spending time in Ballinger with Joan and Stephanie Brunson.

Larry Mckneely, Paul Bordner and Dwayne Norris spent last week hunting in Colorado.

A trip to Sea World was enjoyed by Nettie Jean Randolph, Sue Rhoades and Tracy and Kendall Johnson of Cherokee; Kristi and Jessica Ball of Lampasas; Paul, Kelli and Ashley Jenschke of Fredericksburg; Coby Randolph and friends from San Antonio.
