The Texas State University – San Marcos Students in Free Enterprise recently went live on campus radio station KTSW 89.9 for their weekly CA$H, Call and SIFE Helps, talk show. New members David Standefer, Preston Schaub, Shawn Cox, and Ryan Loosier host the one-hour show Thursday mornings at 8:00am.

The show consists of several topics, including: local, national, and international news coverage, updates on new green products, and unique weekly topics ranging from franchising to networking. The underlying theme and importance of the talk show this semester is to increase knowledge on how to succeed during and after the recession.

The Texas State University – San Marcos students are members of Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), an organization whose purpose is to teach free enterprise in order to better individuals, communities, and countries. SIFE’s purpose is accomplished through the SIFE team’s outreach projects where students and faculty involve the community in the free enterprise system, providing the students with an opportunity to teach others what they have learned.

You may contact SIFE sponsor, Vicki West at (512) 245-3224 for vw03@txstate.edu for more information.
