Old Man Winter is looking us in the face. Sunday morning was very warm then just after noon the front blew in and continued to get cooler through the day. It has been cold all day today (Monday) and there is rain in the forecast for tomorrow.

There were only eight present for the community meeting. Those of us who were there went ahead with plans for the community Christmas program and party which will be December 19th. Gloria Weatherman will be in charge of the program assisted by Wilma Lee. Please mark your calendars and come and join us at 7:30PM for an old-fashioned Christmas with good food and fellowship. I wouldn’t be surprised if Santa shows up! We will meet and decorate the tree on Thursday night at 7:00 PM. There will be a New Year’s Eve supper at 8:00 PM at the old school house. Come and join in all of these activities.

The Richland Springs Coyotes bowed out of the race toward another state championship last Friday night with a loss to Strawn. They can concentrate on basketball, now.

We had our Thanksgiving on Friday evening at the home of Rex and Amy Tucker in Brady. Fourteen of us gathered at the table then scattered all different directions. Marilyn and Bethany Suber and Georgia Tucker drove to Early to watch the Coyote game and wished they had stayed home!

Wilma Lee reports that she and Curtis had eleven kids and grandkids in and out over the holidays.

This begins another new month. The Busy Bee quilters will meet on December 8th for our Christmas party. There will be a gift exchange and finger foods will be served.

The 42 tournament will be December 12th at Richland Springs.
