Kay Snider has been employed here at Eventide as our D.O.N. since this past July.

What is 1 gift/attribute that you wish you were born with that you weren't? Creativity.

What do you NEVER have time to do, but wish you did? Sit out on the porch and watch the flowers grow.

You watch reruns of what? CSI and George Lopez.

Motto? Treasure each day, and what goes around comes around, (you reap what you sow).

If you were voted MOST ?? by your peers, what would it most likely be? Giving.

If you wrote a book about your life, what would it be titled? The Long Road Home or Never Too Late.

What is a goal that you have yet to achieve? To find and purchase the perfect home for my family.

Favorite HOME attire? Anything STRETCHY!

Last big surprise? Becoming pregnant at the age of 43! That was a BIG surprise!

Who makes you laugh? My children.

What do you like most about San Saba? It's small and quiet.

How long have you been a Registered Nurse? 15 years.

Where were you employed previously? I worked at MISSION HOSPITAL in the Rio Grande Valley for 14 years.

What was your position there? I was the House Supervisor.

How many employees did you supervise? Approximately 140.

Why the move from there to here? I wanted to be closer to my family, which, ironically, I work side by side with my mother and my sister!

What have you specialized in? Telemetry, cardiac care, pediatrics, medical/surgical, ER. I've done it all, just about!

Any other special certifications? Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Best attribute? I see the glass half FULL...I'm an OPTIMIST!

Best decision you ever made? Going back to school.

Worst habit? Procrastinating.

Pet Peeve? People that are judgmental, and hypocrites.
