Measuring Penny by Loreen Leedy Submitted by Kolt

In Measuring, Penny Lisa is given an assignment to measure anything she wants. And she does! She measures Penny the dog and many other types of dogs. To measure, she uses a ruler, dog biscuits, cotton swabs, a yard stick, and even herself. This was a fun book because she even measures how fast the dog could get to her food. What can you measure with? So check it out, there is no telling what you could learn.

The Scrambled States of America lets you learn neat facts about the US as each state participates in a talent show. It gets a little crazy, but they get it all worked out in the end. If you are looking for a fun way to gain a little trivia on the US check this book out.
