Lavern Bailey, 90, of Hutto, TX. passed away on Monday, November 23, 2009. She was born October 28, 1919 in Chapel Hill, TX to parents Arthur Bowie Lucas and Annie (Lewis) Lucas.

Survivors include her son, Thomas Bailey and his wife, Joyce, of Hutto; grandchildren, Carey Metcalf, Corey Bailey and his wife, Elizabeth; Justin Bailey and his wife, Natalie; five great-grandchildren; and numerous other family.

Lavern was preceded in death by her husband, Seth Thomas Bailey.

A graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Cherokee Cemetery, north of Cherokee, TX.
