Child's death under investigation

On the morning of November 15th, Deputy Sheriff Todd Milster of the San Saba Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a child not breathing. San Saba County EMS then arrived on scene and transported the child to Brownwood Regional Hospital where the child was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The San Saba Sheriff's Office, Texas Rangers, District Attorney's Office, Brownwood Police Department and Child Protective Services are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the child's death.

Sheriff Brown stated that the investigation is ongoing and that his office is awaiting the final autopsy report.

Sheriff Brown also stated that Chief Deputy Bill Price and Texas Ranger Steven Boyd are lead officers on the investigation and if you have any information concerning this investigation you are asked to contact the San Saba Sheriff's Office at 325-372-5551.

Sheriff Brown also stated that his office would use every resource available to them to thoroughly investigate this incident and asks for prayers for the family and those investigating this tragic situation.
