The produce was stocked to the hilt; the aisles were clean, clear and shiny; the shelves were full and organized; the employees were all in place at Super S for their annual year store walk.

The main office personnel in San Antonio started their annual hometown holiday tour on November 11th to tour all 50 stores in the district and end November 20th. They usually go back to San Antonio each evening but will be staying in Brady this evening in the Hill Country. They arrived in San Saba at 2:30 PM, greeted by Store Manager Clay Bush, Assistant Managers Debbie Herd and Leland Knight and employees.

Joel Griffen, President of Human Resources, unfolded an American flag and everyone repeated the pledge before the tour. Alan Baxkemper, Vice President, was interviewed by Skeebo on KBAL as he related to listeners the activities at Super S. One of the activities was San Saba City Manager, Stan Weik, presenting the key to the city to Baxkemper. Tony Guidroz, Tourism/Developement for the City, was also on hand. Steve Bigham, of Pepper Creek Farm, Inc. cooked up some samples of pork with his seasonings sold at Super S for customers.

After the tour, all employees gathered around as the Store Manager was given a plaque by District Manager Jeff Hunter, and all employees a $20 gift certificate. Rosanne Moreno, 10 year employee and Barbara Bourke, 5 year employee who were not present, will be given gifts.
