Carolina Coronado, 72, of San Saba, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Metroplex Hospital in Killeen, Texas.

Mrs. Coronado was born January 21, 1937, the daughter of Yldifonso Hernandez Sr., and Manuela Martinez Hernandez. She and Bernabe Coronado Sr. were married on March 25, 1950 in San Saba. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2001.

Mrs. Coronado is survived by her sons, Fermin Coronado of San Saba, Domingo Coronado and his wife Nancy of San Saba, Mario Coronado Sr. and his wife Esther of Brownwood, Bernabe Coronado Jr. and his wife Maria of Brownwood, Martin F. Coronado and his wife Renee Harvell of San Saba, and Rafael Coronado of San Saba; her daughters Virginia Dawson and her husband Michael of San Saba, Veronica Coronado and her fiance Miguel Angel Valdez, Vivianna Trevino and her husband Carlos of Abilene; grandchildren Marcus Coronado, Hunter Dean Coronado, Stephanie Marie Coronado, Jamie Coronado, Mario Coronado Jr., James Calvin Williamson, Michael Douglas Williamson, Trina Rene Williamson, Erica Valenzuela, Michele Dawson, Isabel Coronado, Leonel Coronado, Angela Coronado, Giovani Casillas, Aleyni Casillas, Sarah Trevino, Monica Coronado Vega and her husband Juan, Raquel Coronado, Martin James Coronado and his wife Shanon, Sherrey Lanning and her husband Tanner Lynch, Gregory Henley, and Gaiden Crelia; great grandchildren Francescia Coronado, Jordan Coronado, Tristen Coronado, Adam Coronado, Peyton Greenhall, Jenn Erbaugh, Gregory Williamson, Krista Williamson, Joshua Boise, Luke Boise, Natalie Vega, and Aylah Kolb; her brothers Mencho Hernandez of Gulf Port, Mississippi, Yldifonso Hernandez Jr. and his wife Antonia of San Saba; sisters Delores Hernandez Cisneroz of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Stella Hernandez Gonzales of Fall Brook, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons David Wayne Coronado and Oscar James Coronado; two brothers Jesus Hernandez and Arthur Hernandez; two sisters Amelia Sapian and Margie Vianueva.

Funeral services for Carolina Coronado were held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Howell Doran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Crosby officiating. Interment followed in the San Saba Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 20, 2009.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
