The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met November 19, 2009 with the Chair for November, Hattie Rogers, calling for a game of holes beginning with the letter T and F less half your handicap.

First Place went to Patsy Tieken, our guest from the RV Park, who visited with us last week and also won first place for that week. Good for Patsy! We are so glad to have Patsy here in San Saba and playing golf with the ladies. She is a fun lady and a great golfer. Second Place went to Jo Ann Snow and there was a three way tie for Third Place between Hattie Rogers, Becky Hardin, and Anita Miles. Anita scored the Low Gross for the day and tied for Low Net with Sandee Hartley. Dorothy Sterner also played and Jo Anne Hardy and Bobbie Churchill visited and did lunch.

The Christmas Party is scheduled for Monday December 14, 2009 and all members are urged to be present for this fun event. It will be at the RV Community Room and will be catered by Betty Ann Johnson. We will have a wonderful dinner and then play games and visit. Mark your calendars! We will bring donations for the Ministerial Alliance in lieu of gifts.

Here’s hoping you are having a wonderfully happy Turkey Day with your loved ones and that you remember to be thankful for all your blessings! We probably won’t be playing much golf in December but you just never know in Texas. Many days we will be "swinging!"
