The tennis players that qualified for regionals have been working hard last week and this week in preparing for the regional tournament on April 23-24. The tournament site has been changed , the tournament will be held at Rose Park in Abilene instead of Abilene Christian University. Tayler Hibler will be competing in Girls Singles, we have two girls doubles teams Hannah Crosby and Sophia Flores and DeLana Cisneroz and Kara Davis. Justin Barker and Chase Key have qualified in Boys Doubles. This will be Sophia Flores' third trip to regionals, Hannah Crosby and Tayler Hibler will be making their second trip to regionals. This will be the first time at regionals for DeLana Cisneroz, Kara Davis, Justin Barker and Chase Key.

Playing times are as follows:

Wednesday, April 23

8:00 a.m. First Round - Boys Singles and Mixed Doubles

9:30 a.m. First Round - Girls Singles and Mixed Doubles

11:00 a.m. First Round – Boys Doubles

12:30 p.m. First Round - Girls Doubles

2:00 p.m. Quarterfinals – Boys & Girls Singles & Mixed Doubles

3:30 p.m. Quarterfinals - Boys & Girls Doubles

5:30 p.m. Semifinals - Boys & Girls Singles & Mixed Doubles

7:30 p.m. Semifinals – Boys & Girls Doubles

Thursday, April 24

9:30 a.m. Finals and Third Places in all divisions

Playbacks if needed will be one hour after finals and 3rd places have finished.

Teams from the following towns will be at regionals, Canadian, Spearman, Floydada, Littlefield, Slaton, Colorado City, San Saba, Ozona, Reagon County, Mason, Hawley, Stanton, Panhandle, Tahoka, Wall , Jim Ned, and Van Horn.

If you get a chance, please come out and support these players as they have worked very hard to get to regionals.
