Utility assistance available for students

The Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program CEAP is designed to assist income-eligible households through case management and assistance with utility bills. If a qualified person is seeking to earn a GED, taking Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) classes, or is currently enrolled in vocational training or college, the program can assist with utility help, and assistance with books, supplies, uniforms, testing fees.

A new GED class is now being offered at San Saba High School on Monday nights from 6-9 p.m. The instructor is Joyce Walker from Central Texas College. The classes are free,
