Green Products Showroom will have a Grand Opening in Blanco

on Saturday, November 3rd, Green Home Outfitters, which features healthier, safer, environmentally friendly home improvement products, celebrates their grand opening and ribbon cutting at their showroom in Blanco. Although they have been in business for over one year, conducting online sales and participating in shows like Fredericksburg’s Texas Renewable Energy Round Up, Austin’s Green Living Show, and Blanco’s Lavender Festival, they are finally ready for their “brick and mortar” debut.

”Green building is so popular right now, and product selection so vast, it’s taken us awhile to find our niche,” says co-owner Charlotte Lovett. “After a year of testing the market, and finding what suits us best, we’ve decided to specialize in what we call the beautiful side of green. This includes natural flooring and wall finishes, as well as our tried-and-true safer cleaning products, stains and sealants.”

Owners Julie and Stanley Dill and Charlotte and Alan Lovett also plan to unveil a new name and look during their grand opening. “We want a name that better reflects of our rural character that inspires people to create natural, beautiful and healthy environments and lifestyles,” says Julie Dill. “When people hear the name Green Home Outfitters, they tend to think of the building shell and more systematic elements: rainwater collection, solar energy, bio-based insulation, wheat panels, etc. While we love those products, that’s not our focus.”

The grand opening celebration will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., with the unveiling and ribbon cutting at 11a.m. Refreshments, entertainment and door prizes will be offered throughout the day. Green Home Outfitters is located at 803 Pecan (northwest corner of 8th and Pecan) in Blanco, TX.
