Coyotes for The Cure a Success
Thursday, November 5, 2009 • Posted November 5, 2009

On Friday night, October 30 the CWF of the First Christian Church of Richland Springs sponsored Coyotes for the Cure to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure. Our theme was “Whip Breast Cancer.” We set up a table by the concession stand at the Richland Springs-Santa Anna game.

People came by for information on breast cancer facts, treatments and to donate to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. With a donation of $5.00 or more they received a whisk to help us “Whip Breast Cancer”. We were very proud that we raised almost $700 for this important cause and all proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure.

We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to the Richland Springs ISD, Pam Starr and the cheerleaders, Sue Ransom and her classes that help raise funds and the Richland Springs Booster club for their help and support. And to everyone that donated or just stopped by our table for more information we thank you for your support also. Please keep those who are battling breast cancer in your prayers. We look forward to seeing you next year in October.
