Thursday, April 10, 2008 • Posted April 10, 2008

On a windy day and a still chilly night, the district 6-AA Jr. High district track meet was ran off in Bangs last Friday, April 4. The meet was highly competitive as this is a very strong district.

San Saba’s district champions were Samantha Henry in the Shot Put and Discus; Karlee Cromer in the 100 and 300 Hurdles, and Katie Ross in the 200. All were won easily except in the shot put where Samantha won by 2 inches. Other medal winners were a second in the Shot Put by McKenzie Hibler and in the Long Jump by Katie Ross; third places by Jenna Sloan in the High Jump and Karlee Cromer in the Triple Jump.

The Jr. High Lady Dillos had a very good year and the support of the families and friends was tremendous.
