Tarleton releases Summer 2009 graduation lists

Tarleton State University’s spring commencement was held Aug. 15th. The following candidates have satisfactorily met the university’s requirements for their individual degree programs and have been awarded their diplomas. Honor designations for undergraduate degrees are: Summa Cum Laude (Highest Honors), Magna Cum Laude (High Honors) and Cum Laude (Honors).

Mistie Goains of San Saba, graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science from the university’s Stephenville campus.

Jonathan Lord of Richland Springs, graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the university’s Stephenville campus.

Founded in 1899, Tarleton is one of the fastest growing institutions of higher learning in Texas. Just one hour, Tarleton serves as the educational and cultural flagship of the Cross Timbers Region. It is located in Stephenville, which is included in Norman Crampton’s “The 100 Best Small Towns in America” published by Prentice Hall.
